I then created some postcards, just using an individual letter on each one. I really like how some of them printed out - it was completely accidental but has a screen print feel to it. I put some paper through the printer, but it did not seem to take it very well and the ink came out a bit funny - but i really liked it so i did it again...
Stamp in Context, on an envelope.

This is a photography of the final foiled print, it is quite hard to photograph because there is a lot of reflection, but it works really well as a print, and I am glad that I learnt a new process - it is so easy to use and has quite alot of impact when used in the right way.

I thought that the one above, could look quite nice as a single print, with the gold colour foil using the heat press.
The Vinyl cutter was something I had never used before, it took half an hour to print and cut one A4 - mainly because each box had a zig zag line. I felt this gave it more of a credibility to being a stamp. I decided not to have the queens head on it, as not all stamps do anymore and i wanted the type to be the focus of the design. I like that the cut out it so detailed, I think it adds a bit of impact and sophistication.

A booklet of 6 X 1st class stamps - 'because everyone likes to receive a letter.'
Sheets of the Stamps, that I am going to print as stickers, as this is the way they seem to be done more recently, and make its more professional.

I Have been looking at stamps today. Have looked at creating a sheet of stamps and a booklet of stamps. I am booked in on the vinyl cutter tomorrow, so want to have these finished by the end of the today, and move onto another context tomorrow.
